Hi Emma,

I'm happy you found the article helpful Emma. Thanks for jumping in and commenting!

Man, I am so with you re the "painful process" part. Honestly the first step is just being aware that it is a problem to begin with as awful as that can feel.

And, it's really hard to do for yourself. I need help doing this with my own business every bit as much as other people. It' really hard to be objective about our own businesses and to see how we help through the eyes of our clients.

I turn to mastermind buddies, and coaches, and teachers, and customers all the time. Humbling but I'm very grateful for their support. Guess that's part of our lesson as biz owners: to learn we're not supposed to be doing it all ourselves.

Peace,
Judy

I love that cartoon! This is great advice, and a painful process I went through when developing my own little business. The problem you describe is so hard to see our own way out of, so I think having start-up buddies, or a close support group of people willing to help you see your business from the outside in is critical. It's that wood and trees thing I guess :)
